Daca te duci in Elvetia si zici cu voce tare GRAND SEIKO, risti sa-ti cam iei bataie. Da' tu viseaza frumos in continuare...
Ma n-auzi, io-s de acord ca elvetienii fac bijuterii scumpe care au si functionalitatea de a masura timpu'... Da' daca discutam de ceasuri si atat, pai brandurile nemtesti, japoneze (plus inca vreo cateva) sunt cam pe aceeasi treapta. Sa nu mai spun de modele mai speciale, precum Dagaz...
Bine, nu oricine poate accepta asta, e drept. Da' io ma bucur ca fac parte din aia care apreciaza un ceas la adevarata lui valoare, chiar daca nu scrie swiss made pe el.

Cine, japonezii? Si mici, pe deasupra. Niste imitaci, asta au fost mereu. La unele chestii le-a iesit, cum ar fi electronicele si masinile, la altele au dat-o in bara, cum e cazul ceasurilor. N-au cum sa dea valoare unui ceas, prin traditie (sau, mai exact, prin lipsa ei). Noroc ca sunt si unii care le cumpara, altfel renuntau sa se mai chinuie.

Prin comparatie, rolexu' a luat fiinta in 1905, adica la vreo 24 de ani dupa seiko.

Ca si realizari:
1910: The first watchmaker to earn chronometer certification for a wristwatch (1910)
1926: The first waterproof wristwatch "Oyster"
1945: The first wristwatch with an automatically changing date on the dial (Rolex Datejust ref.4467)
1953: The first wristwatch case waterproof to 100 m (330 ft) (Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner ref.6204)
1954: The first wristwatch to show two time zones at once (Rolex GMT Master ref.6542)
1956: The first wristwatch with an automatically changing day and date on the dial (Rolex Day-Date)

si cam acolo se opresc... Sau cel putin nu mai stiu eu ce-au mai facut (in afara de un marketing genial bazat pe snobismu' oamenilor cu bani).

So... astept sa-mi explici cu ce-s mai buni rolexu' decat seiko, in termeni de traditie, valoare, inovatii, realizari... Altele decat ca snobii prefera rolexu pentru statut, ca asta stiu cu totii.

Pai care sunt calitatile unui ceas? Faceti-ma si pe mine sa inteleg, ca sincer nu mai stiu ce sa cred...
Deci, traditie? Inovatii? Precizie? Sau care?
Discutam de ceasuri, ca sa ne intelegem. Nu de bijuterii care arata ora...
Pana una alta rolexu' traieste din amintiri... Chiar si fanii hardcore maraie pe la colturi ca ar cam fi timpu' sa mai iasa si astia cu ceva noi, ca acceasi supareincalzita nu mere la infinit.

Da' sa lasam rolexu', ca e un caz aparte. Hai sa trecem la Omega... E veche, e plina de inovatii, nu e bling-bling... Ceasuri nene, intr-adevar.
Care e diferenta inttre Omega si Seiko? In afara faptului ca Seiko produce si ceasuri ieftine, pentru tot poporu'... Gasesti sa cumperi ceasuri de la 50$ la peste 10000 $

Bravo, asa te si vreau! Cum scriam si mai sus, e nevoie de oameni ca tine. Snobii (ca mine) prefera oricand un ceas elvetian (eventual ieftin) in locul unuia japonez. Si Salomon in loc de Clujana. Si Lindt in loc de Africana. Si Stella in loc de Neumarkt.

Dar nu'i bai, e loc de toti pe pamant. Si pe forum.
