RENAULT RECALLS SCENIC CARS OVER SAFETY BELT PROBLEMS Received Saturday, 8 April 2006 22:18:00 GMT PARIS, April 9, 2006 (AFP) - French car manufacturer Renault said on Saturday it was recalling some of its Scenic models because of a problem with the vehicles' back seat safety belts. A spokesman for the company told AFP part of the safety belt did not always fasten tightly enough. He was unable to say how many of the cars would have to be recalled worldwide. But German website "Auto service praxis online", alleged 888,647 Scenics could be affected around the world. Renault said it would tighten the seatbelt clip on the cars concerned. It insisted this was a preventative measure and not action taken following a safety incident. |

In urma cu cateva luni vorbeam cu un mecanic la Serus care tocmai desfacea centurile spate pentru niste verificari ale unui Scenic accidentat. Mi-a spus ca asa cerusera cei din Franta.
