Conectare TV-PC

Se da urmatoarea ecuatie:
- televizor LG 32LE4500 cu urmatoarele posibilitati de conectare: HDMI, D-Sub, SCART, RCA pozitionat in sufragerie
- calculator cu placa video 9800GT Gigabyte cu HDMI, D-sub, DVI
Distanta dintre cele doua folosind un cablu aranjat frumos in jurul usilor, pereti, etc (distanta maxima) este de 20m.
Pana acum am folosit un cablu HDMI scurt si portul USB (HDD+stickuri) pentru a vedea filme dar as vrea sa ma pot juca si unele jocuri direct din sufragerie (folosind mouse+tastatura wireless, bineinteles) si sa vad si filme in format BluRay rulate direct de pe PC.
Din ce am citit pe net pana acum pot folosi un cablu HDMI de 20M dar acesta nu prea se gaseste la o asemenea dimensiune iar pretul tinde sa fie astronomic (am gasit doar la 400 RON).
Daca folosesc un cablu D-Sub in ambele capete voi putea rula filme HD? Avand in vedere ca monitorul calculatorului e conectat cu D-Sub la placa video si pot rula perfect 1080p presupun ca nu ar fi mare diferenta.
A mai incercat cineva sa-si conecteze calculatorul la televizor pe o asemenea distanta fara a avea probleme cu calitatea video?

De wireless tv nu ai auzit,sunt unele care bat la 50m,trebuie doar sa cauti pe google happy.gif

+ adaptor de la HDMI la DVI. Dat fiind ca transmisia e digitala, nu cred ca vei avea probleme. Pe D-sub aveai nevoie de amplificator de semnal.

Cosmin, nu cred ca wireless TV e capabil de rezolutii full HD.

Multumesc pentru raspunsuri. TV-ul are wireless dar nu va lasati furati de marketing. Wireless A/V inseamna posibilitatea de a cumpara (nu e incorporat) un dispozitiv ce joaca rolul unui receiver de date (gen netflix). Nu inseamna ca pot intra pe net de pe televizor sau sa fac filesharing intre pc si tv.
Am facut rost azi de un cablu VGA-VGA scurt si am testat capacitatile full HD. Merge foarte bine, cel putin pe o distanta de 1.5m.
Am incercat si direct cu HDMI, merge numai ca nu scoate si sunet, nu stiu inca de ce dar e putin important acum.
In principiu cred ca voi folosi un cablu VGA-VGA de 20M, un cablu audio JACK-2XRCA si posibil 2 cabluri PS/2 pentru tastatura/mouse daca renunt la ideea unui kit wireless.
Din cunostintele voastre, un cablu VGA-VGA poate transmite datele fara probleme pe o distanta de 20m?
Mai exista si posibilitatea folosirii unui cablu HDMI de 10m (implica gauri prin pereti si cabluri trase prin baie) dar nu stiu daca e o solutie foarte buna.
Costurile incerc sa le tin cat mai mici, nu vreau sa dau pe "instalatie" pretul unui TV nou.

Am uitat sa mentionez. Momentan studiez problema VGA/HDMI over Cat5e Ethernet. Pare o solutie ieftina si destul de buna. Mai nasol ca are semnal DDC iar calculatorul nu o sa recunoasca display-ul secundar...

Pai sunetul nu are cum sa ti-l scoata pe HDMI fiindca tu il ai conectat la placa video.

Uite aici un raspuns privind calitatea imaginii in raport cu lungimea cablului:

Q. Does HDMI accommodate long cable lengths?

Yes. HDMI technology has been designed to use standard copper cable construction at long lengths. In order to allow cable manufacturers to improve their products through the use of new technologies, HDMI specifies the required performance of a cable but does not specify a maximum cable length. We have seen cables pass "Standard Cable" HDMI compliance testing at lengths of up to a maximum of 10 meters without the use of a repeater. It is not only the cable that factors into how long a cable can successfully carry an HDMI signal, the receiver chip inside the TV or projector also plays a major factor. Receiver chips that include a feature called "cable equalization" are able to compensate for weaker signals thereby extending the potential length of any cable that is used with that device.

With any long run of an HDMI cable, quality manufactured cables can play a significant role in successfully running HDMI over such longer distances.

Eu am avut probleme cu un cablu de 5 m. Apareau dungi pe ecran pentru ca nu resincroniza corect. Fara amplificator de semnal nu va merge.

Deci daca folosesc HDMI risc sa pierd semnal dupa 10m daca nu e un cablu heavy-duty, la VGA iarasi pierd semnal fara repeater. Pana la urma am vreo solutie mai ieftina sau sunt nevoit sa cuplu repeater sau cablu scump la minim 200 ron?
