Hello, friends. Sorry for writing in English...

I have a big problem, that I cannot find a new water pump for my car. It is not available in Renault either at the third-party companies. Its number is 7701468082. The car is B56E version, phase I, Z7X engine, 2963 cc, 123 kW, 167 PS. The pump brand name should be DOLZ C133, but the production was finished and it cannot be replaced by any third-party product...

I am sure that someone had this problem too and I will appreciate any kind of help where to get this pump. I dont care if new or old... I have also the pictures, I may post them too.

Thank you very buch, but, this is not compatible with my car. My vehicle service had this pump and it could not be used... Only the original part. The references of this Valeo are incorrect... I contacted Renault in Slovakia and they did not help me either...

I really doubt that. Either the code you gave me is wrong, or your mechanic is.
Please post here a picture of your oval plate.

Well, I guess you mean the pictures of my broken water pump. Here they are:

http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/2346/snmka061.jpg

My mechanics know my car quite good, cause it was always maintenanced at the same service. They have no problem to find any spare part except this one. They stated that it looks different, it is different and unusable...

The only one that it can be used should be http://www.autoteilepilot.de/Katalog/Vollt...che/7701468082/ but I am not able to register there.

No, I ment the oval plate, it's a aluminium plate that contains some information about your car, but you gave me enough info in your first post.
It seems that you're right, I really don't understant how Valeo got thing mixed up this way...
1. Why don't you go ahead and buy the water pump from autoteilepilot.de?
2. Did you try searching for it on ebay?

It seems that this is the way the wp made by Valeo looks like, and, obviously, doesn't match you part, so I appologies for doubting your information.

Hm, I really have not heard a term oval plate wacko.gif
I know what is VIN, vehicle registration plate, registration book...

So. I have an info about autoteilepilot.de from my service. They are not able to order from there. I was not able to register there. It seems to be for the companies in Germany only. I also found some web shops, e.g. in Russia, Ukraine, but I do not know if they send the goods outside Russia.

I just googled, checked ebay, but did not find that sad.gif

As far as I know you still have the PRV engine.
This engine was made by Peugeot, Renault and Volvo, and each manufacturer used it in many models.
Try calling Citroen, Peugeot and Volvo and asking for the water pump.

One question - how come your car was made in 1999 with the 12 valve engine? Wikipedia sais Renault switched to 24 valves in 1997.

Well, I think I will try to contact Peugeot, but I doubt they will help me.

About that year, I am the second car owner and maybe the car was manufactured sooner and 1999 was just the year of the first registration. According to some sources the 12V engines was still in production until 2001.

I have found your wather pomp based on the info that you have provided.
If the info that you posted is not corect, you will have to make your own search!

c0xty, thank you very much, althought it is not exactly what I need. The link you provided is for 24V instead of 12V that I have. GRAF parts cannot be used. I made my own search there but still did not find what I need sad.gif

Hm, maybe. It is just different engine code and different cc. But it looks identical, I think. I sent the link to my service for the check...

I think i still have one of these in the attic. I'll take a look and post back with pictures if I find it.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that. Although I tried to use Safrane's water pump, but it had a different code and that is why it should not be used, I was told. So I am very sceptical about this Citroen's.

there you go again,
You select your tipe of engine an work it out by your selt.
http://www.ingaraj.ro/?search=submodels&gr...fab=1999&page=2

if you chose to go on service and just ask for a new wather pump, you might buy it at double price.
So, my advice is to study the market so you will know what to ask.

The problem is that the thing I need is very rare and it is a problem to get it at all. And it seems to be unavailable at that Romanian webshop too. But I finally found something that could be finally what I need, at http://autopartmaster.com/en/?action=catal...ice_type=retail. The price is equal to what they told me in the service (216 €) so I sent a request there and I am waiting for the reply and the calculation about the delivery cost...
