Saab aproape de faliment

si doua imagini (una de mai sus) alta din istoria complicata a marcii.

Pacat ca era un nume interesant pe piata auto dar de cand e o anexa (spusa de lux si exclusivitate) a GM.... uite-asa vine falimentul.

Salutare! am avut un Saab 9.5 aero din 2002 cu 250 cp si 155000 km. Este o supermasina. Sincer imi pare bine ca vor scapa de GM, poate va fi mai bine!

SAAB o sa ramana pentru ca este o marca puternica. La noi nu prea e apreciata..masinile nemtesti find la putere! insa in America altfel sta problema. Sunt fan SAAB de cand am condus prima masina la un drive-test. E o masina care iti da un sentiment aparte...de care ori te indragostesti ori o urasti! E, urmatoarea masina a mea va fi un Saab pentru multitudinea de dotari,scaunele superbe din piele..forma masinii,pana si contactul pozitionat intre scaune,numarul redus(nu vezi toata ziua un saab) o fac o masina exclusivista. Sunt multe masini cu mult peste SAAB,insa au si un pret pe masura... Pentru mine Saab va ramane Saab,o masina cu personalitate puternica . Si sa nu uitam ca saab a incercat sa aduca cate ceva din cokpitul avioanelor de vanatoare pe care le fabrica in habitaclul masinii-pentru ca un SAAB se piloteaza ,nu se nu conduce...UN SENTIMENT APARTE PENTRU SOSEA!

Gresit Emil, condu un Saab 9-3 si vei vedea ca esti pe linga subiect. Difera mult de Vectra: calitatea interiorului si a fabricatiei, puntea spate autodirectoare setarea directiei si a trenului de rulare, confortul scaunelor, etc

wub.gif Duminica trecuta m-am plimbat cu un Saab 9-3 aero de 280hp...era full,trapa,navigatie,piele,etc..jante pe 18 ,comanda speciala,padele pentru schimbat vitezele de pe volan! e un vis..doamne cat de mult poate sa imi placa masina asta...pur si simplu te baga in scaun si nu te mai lasa sa iesi pana nu iei piciorul de pe acceleratie!

Spiegel Online a publicat in 17.04 un articol in care e data stirea cum ca GM ar fi dispus sa daruiasca SAAB oricarui investitor care ar fi dispus sa cumpere aceasta firma.

"GM is also prepared to hand over its Swedish brand Saab for free"

Dupa ce si-au batut joc de SAAB, neintelegandu-i filozofia, americanizandu-i designul, facandu-l pe aceeasi platforma cu Vectra si umplandu-l de piese Opel (fapt pentru care SAAB si-a pierdut o mare parte din fani iar imaginea i s-a deteriorat an de an - bineinteles si calitatea materialelor folosite in comparatie cu cele din modelele suedeze), acum a ajuns sa-i mai dea si aceasta palma... Sper din tot sufletul ca SAAB sa iasa de sub tutela GM si sa-si revina financiar intr-atat incat sa fie in stare sa dezvolte modele originale, fara piese de Opel, recastigandu-si astfel imaginea pierduta si fanii care de atatia ani isi ingrijesc cu mare pasiune vechile 900 si 9000 in asteptarea clipei cand SAAB va redeveni SAAB.

But the Swedish government, which has been wary of making a commitment on loan guarantees, said the issue of financing support was not yet resolved.

"We do not yet know if Koenigsegg group will need loan guarantees or not," Joran Hagglund, state secretary for Sweden's industry ministry, told Reuters.

Savaged by downturn
Saab Automobile had been in talks with two or three bidders in recent weeks.

Koenigsegg, founded 15 years ago by Christian von Koenigsegg, was until recently seen as an unlikely suitor. Analysts say it's unclear whether Koenigsegg has the expertise to run a larger company such as Saab or whether the two operations make a good fit.

Saab's sales comprised just over 1% of GM (GMGMQ)'s total sales volume last year. It has been hit hard by the economic downturn that has savaged sales on both sides of the Atlantic.

The company, one of Sweden's best-known brands, has said it needs $1 billion of financing to help it overhaul production and launch new models while absorbing expected losses of about $382 million this year.

The Saab Automobile/IF Metal workers' union welcomed the news.

"We're not negative to this. We think it is good that this finally got its solution," union representative Paul Akerlund told Reuters.

The union, and residents of Saab headquarters Trollhattan, in southwest Sweden, have been anxious to see a deal reached as Saab is the town's main employer.

nu stiu daca saab va supravietui in urma acestui mariaj. Si e pacat. Din cauza ca o marca premium are nevoie de bani, de know how, de tehnologii cat mai noi si cat mai multe. Care nu pot fi acoperite la un nivel decent costuri/cheltuieli din doar 100.000 de masini produse

Sub GM Saab n-avea cum sa supravietuiasca. Saab a fost intotdeauna o marca de top, de calitate, de performante, de tehnologie.
GM este un constructor in masa de produse submediocre. In SUA majoritatea sunt vazuta ca masini de unica folosinta.
Cum ar fi putut intelege si proteja filosofia Saab??

Acum am auzit ca ar putea fi luati de Koenigsegg. Hmmm, poate un e prea tarziu.

Intrebarea e daca nu cumva in era GM Saab si-a pierdut si specialisitii odata cu clientii?

Saab nu mai e ce-a fost. Imi aduc aminte un slogan de-al lor: "Nascut din avioane". Pana si mesajul afisat de CB dupa ce rasuceai cheia iti amintea acest lucru("Enjoy your flight" sau "Have a nice flight").

dany, daca te impresioneaza cum arata, ar trebui sa vezi cum merg...

Serios, au fost intotdeauna in alta clasa fata de VW and co. Avioane de sosea intr-adevar....

Desi sunt departe de a-mi permite unul, mi-ar parea rau sa dispara Saab-ul de pe sosele...
