din surse neoficiale, am inteles ca unul din noile motoare Tce de la Renault lansat cu surle si trambite, pica de ceva vreme la greu testele de fiabilitate care se fac chiar la ei acasa, in Franta; cu toate acestea ei il pun pe toate masinile proaspat lansate: Lodgy aka J92, Clio4 aka X98, Captur aka J87 (Modus II),etc wacko.gif

A fost initiata trimiterea de scrisori in legatura cu aceasta campanie tuturor utilizatorilor de autoturisme afectate, pentru a se prezenta la cel mai apropiat reparator autorizat Chevrolet, in vederea remedierii gratuite a acestei probleme.

Durata interventiei variaza intre una si trei ore, se verifica in prealabil daca autoturismul a fost deja reparat, iar daca nu, se inlocuieste lichidul de frana si, in caz de necesitate, modulul ABS. Actiunea a inceput in data de 20 august 2012 si nu are termen limita.

Rechemarea cuprinde modelele Spark, Aveo, Captiva, Lacetti si Epica produse intre 2007 si 2011. Nu s-au inregistrat incidente legate de posibilul defect.

Printre producatorii auto care au mai facut rechemari in service in 2012, in Romania, se numara Toyota, Fiat, Dacia, Mitsubishi, Honda, Nissan, Porsche, Renault, Audi si Seat.

Și siamezele au hibe la ECU: Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S facing rough idle and stalling situations
La Toyota cei sub 100 mile beneficiază de ECU reflash, cei peste 100 mile au parte de ECU replacement. La Subaru doar ECU reflash. La Duster nu am auzit încă nimic…

NHTSA probing Hyundai Veloster for shattering sunroofs

    The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation following complaints from drivers that the sunroofs on the Hyundai Veloster are prone to spontaneously exploding.
    There are 15 complaints in the NHTSA database from drivers who say they heard a loud bang, and then sat through a downpour of glass.

    All of the incidents happened on very new models, with less than 3,000 miles on the odometer. Two people said the roof exploded while the car was parked. One person was hosing the car down in the driveway when the glass shattered. This person said the glass flew as far as six feet away from the car.
    Jim Trainor, a spokesman for Hyundai, said the company is working with NHTSA to look into the problem.
    "Our evaluation is in the very early stages and Hyundai is in the process of examining each report," Trainor said. "As always, we will work closely with NHTSA on this evaluation."
