EuroNCAP schimbă standardele

Am auzit/citit prin diverse emisiuni/reviste că EuroNCAP va schimba modul de testare și de acordare a notelor pentru că mulți producători s-au cam plafonat la a obține cele 5 stele și folosesc asta în marketing fără a dezvolta mai departe. Am înțeles că și viteza de test la impactul frontal va crește spre 80km/h. Probabil că va reîncepe cursa pentru mașini de 5 stele.

Si eu am auzit c-ar vrea sa mai adauge 1-2 stele in plus, ca momentan cele maxim 5 stele inseamna de multe ori standarde diferite la modele de masini diferite...

Ten years later, out of the 34 car models tested and assessed by Euro NCAP in one year, 97% of them achieve either a four or a five star result. Yet there are still areas of safety that Euro NCAP believes need to be prioritised by manufacturers and where lives could be saved. In comparison to these good adult occupant protection results, no manufacturer achieves a four star result in pedestrian protection. In our tests last year, 67% of models were awarded just two stars in this rating, despite approaching legislation. Euro NCAP is concerned that many manufacturers set out to achieve high scores for adult occupant protection to attract consumers, whilst compromising safety investment in other areas. Euro NCAP believes that consumers are interested in the safety offered to all occupants and also to other road users when they are choosing a new car. For this reason, Euro NCAP is developing a new rating system that will reward the overall safety of a vehicle.

Michiel van Ratingen, Secretary General of Euro NCAP says ‘I am delighted that more and more manufacturers are achieving five stars in our crash-tests, but it is imperative that Euro NCAP continues to set higher benchmarks for car makers to aspire to. Our new rating system will do this. I have no doubt that manufacturers will step up to the challenge, just as they did when we first started. The creation of new technologies means enhanced safety performance and a potential reduction of fatalities on our roads. We intend to reward those manufacturers that make this their ultimate goal.’

The maximum rating in Euro NCAP’s new system will continue to be five stars. However, the new overall rating will reflect the protection offered to adult and child occupants as well as pedestrians and will, for the first time, consider the safety potential of advanced driver assistance technologies such as electronic stability control. The assessment of adult occupant protection will be expanded to include whiplash testing.

The first results for vehicles tested under this new rating system will be released in February 2009.

Further details about the new whiplash test and new rating system will be released towards the end of the year.


Nu se adauga stele, nu se mareste viteza de impact.

Stele nu se adaugă, dar vor fi mai greu de obținut.
Cu viteza de impact mai vedem.

Vechi, normal; poate se face și un tabel orientativ de echivalare, deși dacă se schimbă procedura de testare echivalarea nu mai poate fi făcută.
Pentru mașini în producție cred că se vor face teste noi.

Sunt singurul care crede ca siguranta pietonilor nu e asa importanta ? Nu vreau sa fiu rau, sau egoist, dar daca iau o masina ma gandesc la siguranta mea, nu a celui care traverseaza aiurea.

Oricum, astept echipa cristib sa spuna cum Euro NCAP e doar marketing si nu conteaza rezultatele tongue.gif

Ar trebui ca EuroNCAP sa mai ridice standardul un pic. Ar fi o noua provocare pentru constructori. Iar daca producatorii vor reusi sa atinga iar maximum, asta nu ar insemna decat cresterea sigurantei pasagerilor.

Pentru a face o masina sigura pt. pietoni trebuie cat mai curbata in fata, ceea ce nu o face foarte frumoasa. Bine, sunt si exceptii, gen 407, dar ca idee am sa-mi montez un bullbar cu tepi ca sa le fac in ciuda.

Dar sunt de acord cu cresterea standardului la EuroNCAP. Ar trebui bagata si a 6-a stea si dat de lucru producatorilor. Dupa prima masina cu 6 stele, se vor apuca toti de muncit, si tot asa.

Ar fi o tampenie destul de mare din partea ta chestia cu bull-barul, cum e tampenie si sa ignori complet aspectul sigurantei pietonilor.

Intr-o buna zi se poate sa faci tu o gresala si sa lovesti pe cineva pe o trecere de pietoni (acum poti baga placa cu "mie nu o sa mi se intample").
In situatia asta vei prefera sa scapi cu permisul suspendat (pt. ca masina ta a salvat viata pietonului) decat sa faci puscarie pt. ucidere din culpa (pt. ca bullbarul tau a facut ferfentita omul)

Gresala e aceesi, consecintele pt. tine pot fi drastic diferite.

am vazut mai demult la TV (era un Saab, daca imi aduc bine aminte huh.gif ) un fel de air bag pentru pietoni, care iesea din zona unde se termina capota si incepe parbrizul. Asta ar rezolva multe probleme de siguranta (si scapam si noi mai usor daca avem ghinionul sa lovim pe cineva)

Cu criza asta a combustibililor, mie mi se pare ca se incearca tot soiul de metode de a relansa vanzarile si de a impune pre-echiparea masinilor cu ESP/TSC/etc. Siguranta se vinde bine smile.gif

Pacat ca stelele alea nu suplinesc prostia soferilor romani.
E si normal... cine-si ia masina in functie de acest lucru, se mai si culca pe o ureche cum ca el nu poate pati nimic in masina lui superprotejata, care este in acelasi timp o arma fatala pentru pietoni si masinile mai vechi.
Totul are un pret pe lumea asta si ce-i mai trist e faptul ca 90% cel putin dintre cei ce cumpara masini, sunt total ignoranti.
Toata lumea sa traiasca, numai noi sa nu murim... ura si la gara! cheers.gif

Ma bag si eu Alex, pentru ca ma gandesc uneori (cu precadere in ultimii ani, de cand sunt parinte) cu groaza ca o sa-mi sara un copil in fata... Am vazut deseori copii tasnind dintre masini, pici de 3 ani care alearga spre masina in parcarea supermarketului si care nu depasesc 80 cm inaltime, n-ai cum sa-i vezi.sau alte exemple de felul asta. Un impact chiar la viteza mica le poate face mult rau... Circul mult mai atent pe stradutele inguste, mai ales alea cu sens unic cu masini parcate si pe-o parte si pe alta, intre blocuri.
Cred ca problema nu se pune doar din puct de vedere legal: nu s-a asigurat, a trecut pe rosu, l-am lovit, da-l in ma-sa - e vina lui. Cred ca si pentru sofer e o experienta traumatizanta. Eu cel putin as trece foarte greu peste asa ceva, mai ales daca ar fi vorba de un copil fragil, chiar daca ar fi din vina lui.
De aceea cred ca demersurile producatorilor in directia protectiei pietonilor sunt foarte justificate si ar trebui facute mai multe lucruri in sensul asta. Cat despre masinile cu bull bars, chiar daca ai șarjat puțin ca sa-ti nuantezi punctul de vedere, cred ca stii ca chiar si un adult are putine sanse la un impact frontal cu accesoriul respectiv. S-a scris o gramada despre asta.
Din puctul meu de veder, pe langa alte calitati masina mea ar trebui sa fie cat mai prietenoasa față de mediu (deci oameni) atat in ceea ce priveste productia cat si exploatarea (consum, s.a.). Inclusiv in cazul unor incidente nefericite cu altii care nu se afla la randul lor intr-o masina.
