A complete new steering rack here is something like $1000. I asked the Renault dealer if I wanted to know exactly how much they were, he told me that I didn't!! Renault parts can be very expensive here - there are not many Renaults here and they are marketed as a luxury car The bush should the same as your cars - the part is the same, it is just on the left side of my car. And how do you know that's the reason for the noise on rough surfaces ? Have you got any second opinion from a mechanic or so ? Maybe it's something else, that kind of noise could be the cause for many other casualties..

I can see the movement. I started the job the replace the inner steering ball joint, but they were tight, and the movement is in the bush.

Dont't worry, normally you'll get them. At start you can't send, but you can receive.

Hi, hmarold !I went to post office and I can send you the bush as a letter( I mean a big envelope,because the package will cost a lot).Also, you can pay by paypal (I have paypal account ). I installed the bush today, was very easy and successful!

The steering rack is now tight again and the noise is gone. Thank you so much!!

Looking at my picture again, I realise I have positioned the slots at the top and bottom, instead of the original position.

Is this a problem do you think? I think the load will be up and down. I might later turn the bush 45 degrees.

No matter in what position the bushing, mount is very well positioned.

exista vreo sansa ca suruburile ce prind caseta de directie de caroserie sa se desfaca?au cumva o bucsa de cauciuc sau prinderea se face fier pe fier?intreb pentru ca si eu am un troncanit asemanator si nu ii dau de cap.....cand e cald afara se aude mai des iar cand ploua mai putin....bucsa respectiva a fost verificata de mai multi mecanici si au spus ca nu are pic de joc.am schimbat cam tot ce a fost nevoie la directie\suspensie dar troncanitul a ramas...

Si eu am avut acel trancanit pe dreapta care este din caseta . Am mers cu ea asa cam 6 luni ( evitand gropile ) apoi devenind suparator am recoditionato.

Sunt cei mai tari de pe piata si sunt SINGURII cu acreditare RAR . Ii recomand pe ei in loc sa o faci tu la nu stiu ce strungar fara sa o testezi dupa ,fara garantie. Discuta cu dl.Marius si apoi da o veste.

am luat si eu o bucsa de la liviu dupa ce am luat manga cu celebrele bucse galbene originale,am montat-o la piatra neamt,,,,in suceava nu am gasit niciun sevice dispus....operatia este destul de simpla....manopera 50 lei + directia,,,pt ce-i interesa-ti pot da nr de telefon al mecanicului de la serviceul din piatra neamt....

pentru ce a mai facut directia ?

Se da jos bieleta de directie (dreapta).

Bieleta se desface din caseta si nu este nevoie de geometrie roti.

schimbat bucsa caseta directie ,aparut mesaj in bord check steering ce e de facut in acest caz....? va rog o rezolvare? precizez ca bucsa e de teflon.

salutari, am constatat ieri ca am aceasta bucse din teflon foarte uzata
axul este ruginit,
am strung si as putea rectifica axul.
ideea este care sunt cotele standard ale acestei bucse ?
interior- exterior- urechiusele de blocare etc.
ma gandeam sa realizez piesa inainte de a ma apuca de treaba, sa nu dureze totul extrem de mult.

Daca rectifici axul nu te mai incadrezi la cotele standard dar exista rezolvare daca apelezi la persoana potrivita .
