Wellcome Schakal ... lowering the car is done with "shorter" springs ... but the confort will not be the same. smile.gif

I do not know anybody here with a lowered Renault 9 11, but maybe somebody will be able to tell you more than me smile.gif

thanks mate ,
yes springs lower the car to a certain degree but than
you need uprated shock absorbers as well
otherwise the standard ones wont last very long .

i found a JAMEX lowering kit ,which has got shorter and
harder shocks as well as a shorter springs .i want to
buy it but cant decide without seeing how low it actually goes .
cause the kit is not so cheap sad.gif

have you got many r9/11 owners on here ????

Normally the producer shoul tell you the characteristics of the kit ... smile.gif ... can you put a link or something for us to see the kit ? ... there are a few with Renault 9 and 11 but I do not know exactly how many and how often they connect to the forum smile.gif

thats not always the case ,i bought 35 mm lowering springs
from ebay before and they never lowered the car a mm smile.gif

here is the ebay link

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...72754&rd=1&rd=1

it says it is for a renault 19 but i know for a fact all non 16v r19
shocks fit the renault 9 and 11 nicely , as i am currently running
a set of standard front renault 19 ones on my r9
the only difference with the rear shocks is the bottom
rubber bushes which can be easily swapped from the renault 9 ones .
