Am pus si eu JuiceDefender si instant au aparut probleme la wi-fi: ori nu mai puteam sa pornesc ori sa opresc wi-fi. La viata bacteriei in 24h nu a fact vre-o diferenta sesizabila, pe 3G s-a termint cu succes.
Instalat diverse alte widget-uri care promiteau ca inchid 3G, dar de fapt ori sunt scurtaturi in meniul telefonlui, ori inchid complet transferul de date, deci nema internet.

Are cineva o idee mai buna ? Pana una alta raman la GSM normal, mi-l mut eu singur pe 3G daca e nevoie si nu am wi-fi in range.

Am eu un soft care se numeste Super Power, e pe Market, care atunci cand se inchide ecranul, taie netul la telefon. Tinand cont ca nu prea ma intereseaza mail-urile decat ocazional, e perfect pentru mine. Atentie ca e beta si vrea musai root.

O fi o problema de setari atunci, eu l-am setat sa dea drumul la date o data la 15 minute si sa forteze o sincronizare doar pentru aplicatia de mail de la Yahoo, iar cand bateria este descarcata sub 15% sa dezactiveze datele complet.

Asta este setarea default. WiFi tot intr-o figura o tinea . . .

Faptul ca telefonul sta pe retea 3G omoara bacteria, la Deva vaz ca am semnal slab la 3G, undeva in jurul la -100 dBm. Poate sa-i taie cat vrea sincronizarea la mail si la widgetul de Accuweather, tot atat m-a tinut.

La mine, cu toate in afara de GPS si Wifi activate tine undeva in jurul a 30 maxim 35 de ore.
Asta la o utilizare normala. Ca daca stau pe internet pe 3G il "dobor" in cateva ore happy.gif

Tot ce instalez in materie de rom/modem/kernel/teme este luat de pe XDA. Mai nou, tema mi-o fac singur smile.gif .. adica pornesc de la o baza care im place (in cazul de fata Generation X) si modific pe ici pe colo ce anume consider ca trebuie pentru mine. Pot face share daca vrei wink.gif.

Cat despre baterie .. am atasate pozele "oficiale" ...

Revenind la problema mea .. am reusit azi sa ajung acasa cu 52% baterie, dupa cca 20 de ore de functionare (scos din priza aseara inainte de culcare). Azi nu am mai folosit telefonul in modul agresiv si doar am ascultat muzica pe el, vreo 6 ore, cu castile cu fir ... si am avut vreo 20 de minute de convorbiri. Tot e putin dar e mai bine.

Orice live wallpaper ai pune pe tel, el consuma doar cand este afisat efectiv pe ecran .. in rest e in background, inactiv. Oricum, un live wallpaper consuma mai mult decat unul static .. dar, repet, doar cand este afisat.

Am ajuns la masuri drastice cu telefonul smile.gif

Sunt pe "Data network mode off" de 3 zile si inca mai am 43%
in toata perioada asta nu am avut nevoie sa-i dau drumu la trafic. Nici macar vremea nu si-a facut update iar mailurile si sincronizarea de calendar se vor folosi rar.

Intrebarea grea. Aveam nevoie de un smartfon si la ora aia era singurul telefon accesibil din foarte multe motive si nokia era fail cu N8.

As fi vrut sa ma dau pe net, sa verific mailuri si sa ma joc pe telefon dar daca nu se poate, nu se poate.
Cel mai des il folosesc pe post de terminal gsm deci no more fun & games.
Il astept pe C7 sa mai creasca putin si am fugit.

Eu am gasit o combinatie rom-kernel-modem excelente dpdv al power-ului. Developerii astia chiar fac treaba buna. La salar le bag o donatie mica pentru ca merita din plin.

Am acum drop de 3% in 8 ore de standby cu wifi-ul activ.
Si reusesc sa ajung acasa cu 70% baterie in conditii de utlizare "normale" (mail, browsing, telefon .. din astea).

Cu viteza sta superb ... chiar si cu file system-ul original (RFS) nu are lag.
Am convertit totusi toate partitiile in ext4 caci se pare ca asta e combinatia castigatoare pentru stabilitate/power si securiatte a datelor.

Combinatia mea curenta este ROM-DOC v7.9, KERNEL-speedmod K12M 500Hz, MODEM- BUJP5
