I received the email on the 17th and updated today.
If it's the same one, it's quite a good one.

This list is what I've noticed, it might be wrong or missing stuff:

Interface responsiveness has ben improved A LOT. It no longer feels like and android phone from 2010 trying to stay alive.
The map automatically stores charger locations you have used even if they are private.
You can choose a different icon for the car in the map, being able to select the default arrow, a Zoe (my car is white and so is the icon), some Renault concept cars and a F1/FE car
The car's position in the GPS snaps to the nearest road, and it updates very frequently
No major visual changes though

I called the Renault multimedia team today to ask what the update fixes (hoping it fixes my map updates, because I'm stuck on Sept 2019 maps). They don't know. They're expecting release notes sometime this week. I also asked when the rolling updates might start (don't know) and roughly how long it might take to roll them out to everyone. They don't know that either.
Situation normal.

I'm waiting to be underwhelmed.
