Hello to All.

I'm new to this forum, and sorry for asking/writing for another car manufacturer like Citroen .

Last week i received 2 new end bushings for my car which has a power steering rack, but together with the mechanic we are having installation difficulties.

Two days has passed reading different post with this subject (bushings) and for many guys it was quite easy to install them alone.

Now my steering rack is fully disassembled because the old bush was stacked. The new bush passes fine to the rack but after installing to the housing the rack wouldn't get in anymore.

After I measured both bushings, old and new and they are similar. Only the shape differs a bit.

Now i don't know where the problem is, but i doubt on installation.

I don't know if the new bush must be installed with the rack on it, first or after? Maybe i need a special tool to insert the new bush?

Should i have to buy a new/different bush?

Anyone that could help...please...
