Prezentat la Paris cu un motor de 1200 cmc si 100 Cp .....producatorul sustine ca ce va scoate la vanzare in 2007 va semana in proportie de 95% cu ce a expus la salon...sa vedem

bine banuiesc ca are alta garda la sol , alte jante si pneuri si o forma generala a spoilerului mai cuminte......daca ar aparea asa ar fi prea frumos sa fie adevarat , probabil va fi ceva de genul C2 de la Citroen. Oricum e asteptata masina , vechiul Twingo a facut cariera in Franta... in Ro sunt fff putine.

This prototype the future anticipates the aspect of Twingo, that will be on sale in spring of 2007. Many of the elements that the prototype will not appear in the definitive version, mainly the related ones to the interior.

It measures 3.6 m of length, 1.7 m of wide and 1.4 m of height. That is to say, more wide length is something and than the previous Twingo; the height is similar.

The body has three doors, with an inner door that falls almost vertical and that integrates in its superior part a small aileron. The windows of the doors do not have a frame, a solution that Renault has not used from the Avantime.

One of the most showy characteristics is than the windshield extends throughout all the ceiling, forming a great surface of a single piece.

The lights and the pilots also will be different by the used technology, not by their forms.

It is probable that the Twingo takes the system of entrance and starting without key optionally. The interior of the prototype has four separated individual seats of type bacquet by a console that crosses the cockpit longitudinally. On that console diverse multimedia equipment can be placed, like reproducers mp3 or personal agendas (PDA); also there is a connection USB. The speedometer is placed in the central part of the dashboard.

This prototype has a turbocharger motor of 1.2 l with a displacement that gives 100 CV. Renault at the moment does not have a motor of these characteristics in no model on sale. In this prototype, the brakes are of disc in the four wheels.

Foarte bine lucrat, la fel de revolutionar ca si modelul anterior. Dar nu cred ca va fi comercializat de Reno la noi in tara....(sper sa nu am dreptate).

Din pacate exteriorul nu ma prea convinge. Daca dai jos pasajele rotilor si parasocurile supradimensionate (ceea ce cred ca se va si intampla) pare un clio 3 micsorat. De aceeasi "boala" sufera si pejoul 207. Vor ajunge fiecare marca sa ofere un fel de papusa de aceea ruseasca pe care o desfaci si tot scoti o alta mai mica din ea. Au indraznit francezii in designul twingoului actual si dupa 13 ani fara schimbari majore masina nu este invechita. La asa ceva ma asteptam si din partea modelului nou. Sper ca versiunea de serie sa nu fie un clio desumflat.

Twingo Concept – a communicating car with a racy, sports pedigree

Renault has chosen the 2006 Paris Motor Show to unveil Twingo Concept. Firmly
grounded in a youth culture of sport, music and fashion, Twingo Concept is powered by the new turbocharged 1.2 16V TCE 100 engine. Twingo Concept boasts a host of multimedia features and a high level of equipment.

At only 3.6 meters long, Twingo Concept appeals to customers who have a taste for both attractive, sporty city cars and new communication technologies. Its compact, squat volumes and incisive, assertive styling give it plenty of character, while its sports pedigree is apparent in the design of its lively, expressive front end. The well proportioned bumper and motor sport-inspired grille hint at the presence of a well-tuned engine committed to performance. The shape of the indicators in the headlamp modules echoes the chequered flag-based graphics of the bodywork and which flow along the car's pearl-blue sides to subtly suggest speed. The foglamps are flanked by air intakes included to cool the powerful
disc brakes.

Riding on 17-inch, dark chrome wheels picked out in Renault yellow, Twingo Concept communicates a punchy, dynamic feel. The profiled sills and wing extensions emphasize its sporty lines and athletic curves.
At the rear, the chromed twin exhaust tailpipe and air extractor take their inspiration from Clio Renault Sport, and the new Renault badge nestles on the wide hatch, the lower part of which is flanked by "high-tech" rear lights.

Underneath the short but stylish bonnet is the new small TCE 100 petrol powerplant chosen to power Twingo Concept. This 1.2-litre turbocharged engine delivers maximum power of 73kW (100hp) and maximum torque of 145Nm, while its exceptional efficiency combines response, power and environmental-friendliness. Twingo Concept’s low fuel consumption is equivalent to
CO2 emissions of less than 140g/km – a remarkably low figure for such a powerful performer.

Twingo Concept’s sophisticated, young and high-tech cabin marks a stark contrast with its sporty exterior and takes occupants into a world of mobile sound. Its wide panoramic glass sunroof and two pillarless doors ensure a bright interior that brings out the qualities of its uncluttered, high-tech dashboard. The cabin’s simple and ergonomically effective Touch Design approach is a statement in intuitive understanding.
Twingo Concept has found inspiration in youth culture and in its love of music and freedom. The centre console features a USB port as well as sockets for devices like Apple's iPod and the Nokia Smartphone. A mixing deck built into the dashboard is ideal for partying with friends.
The musical focus is also reflected in the highly visual graphics of the dashboard, the upper part of which features a pattern based on the graphic equalizer bars with which music-lovers are naturally familiar. It is evocative of the bass rhythms that will pound from the door-mounted speakers and contrasts with the matt finish of the lower part of the dashboard.
The central part of the dashboard has an analog speedometer which sits above a 15-inch retractable, folding monitor which, for safety reasons, can only be deployed when the car is at a standstill. Behind this screen are all the functions of a computer that permit passengers to log on to the Internet, while a web cam is incorporated into the screen to remain in visual contact with the outside world.
In an assertion of personality and originality, Twingo Concept’s interior comes with its own "light show". When the car is at a standstill and the multimedia mode is activated, the cabin is bathed in a blue, high-tech glow. When the driver presses the start button and the engine kicks in, the dominant hue automatically shifts to Renault yellow to energize the cabin with a sportier feel.
Twingo Concept accommodates its four occupants in independent bucket seats with built-in headrests that provide first class comfort and support. The night-blue fabric of the upholstery contrasts with the sophisticated white of the seats' structure which echoes the cabin’s colour scheme by emitting shafts of yellow light. All seats have individual jack plugs so that each occupant can listen to his or her favourite music.

The small steering wheel with flattened lower section falls naturally to hand. It is a concentrate of technology and bristles with an array of controls for mobile systems, as well as a microphone for e-conferencing over a Bluetooth connection.
The large, ergonomically designed rev-counter is located on the steering column in the driver’s line of sight. Its unique graphic design ensures optimal clarity.
Passengers can stow and chill cans of energy drinks in a purpose-designed compartment in the boot. Twingo Concept is a trendy car conceived for enjoying and sharing music. When the rear hatch is open, its built-in speakers face outwards so that when the DJ gets mixing on the deck the partying can continue well into the night.

imi place mai mult cel care s-a fabricat pana in prezent.
este deosebit, simplu, practic si foarte spatios pentru clasa lui. o masinuta ideala pentru oras.
noua versiune este destinata mai mult tinerilor si atrage prin interiorul super dotat cu gadgeturi. este modern dar va pierde din "unicitatea" de care s-a bucurat timp de 14 ani.
nu inteleg de ce in ziua de azi masinile trebuie sa semene atat de mult intre ele.
poate sunt mai ciudat, dar este parerea mea .
astept sa vad cat de convingator va fi pentru potentialii clienti.
Reno s-a mai ars cu Modus...........

Sa fim seriosi ca nu va arata asa noul twingo! Ce au prezentat este doar conceptul! o sa fie ceva de genul prezentare Logan Sttepe si lansare Logan MCV! Asa ca nu va faceti prea mari sperante!

In Franta si in Spania eu am vazut la greu, si inca din-alea tunarite rau de tot biggrin.gif
deasemenea in Pitesti sunt o gramada...evident cu numere de PROBE; se pare ca asa au decis mai marii de la Renault , sa nu-l aduca la vanzare si in Romania... ce rost ar avea sa scada vanzarile la Citroen C2, Toyota Aigo, Peugeot 107 din cauza asta ?!... ce cretini!....
