a trecut ceva vreme si Tesla Motors a evoluat foarte mult, si realizand niste promisiuni considerate utopice pana cand le-au realizat ei.
reincarcare gratis...free energy. ah, stai 20j de minute. dar pt calatorii transcontinentale, o pauza la fiecare 300-400km e ok, mai te relaxezi.

astept cu interes entry-levelul lor de sub 30k euro, care sa stearga pe jos cu leaf-ul celor de la nissan.

GM s-au pus serios pe treaba si cam spioneaza ce face tesla.

Treaba cu reîncărcarea gratuită e doar pentru atras clienții. Cînd mașina va prinde suficient de bine la public, sînt convins că se va închide robinetul.
Și-apoi, cînd dai optzeci de mii pe un sedan al cărui echivalent pe benzină costă doar vreo douăzeci, eu n-aș numi-o "free energy". Cu diferența de șaizeci de mii cumperi benzină sau curent electric pentru tot restul vieții...

Puteam paria ca este vorba de o tara nordica, am un cunoscut acolo si a spus ca acolo vezi masini hibride si electrice precum la noi Megane-uri pe benzina.

Noi mai avem mult si bine, am avut pe mana Prius-ul Plug-in de la Toyota si am damblagit cautand o borna de incarcare, cele care le stiam nu erau functionale sau cu acces public restrictionat.
La Renault Titu in curte au mai multe borne decat aveam in toata tara smile.gif

acolo s-a si vandut primul Model S oficial in europa. Apoi in Olanda.
Test pe zapada facut de un independent mai acum vreo juma de an cu un import din SUA, deci masina adresata pietei calde a californienilor, a obtinut un range de 300km in conditiile incarcarii laplin a masinii si cu bancheta rabatata, si cu mers sportiv si conditii de iarna severa (considerate la noi, ca nu stiu la ei cum e iarna severa) si doar cu RWD

Mașinile produse de Tesla au cucerit segmentul oamenilor cu bani. În California, unde automobilele ecologice sunt sprijinite de autorități, Tesla a vândut de la începutul anului peste 4.700 de mașini, mai multe decât Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover sau Lincoln, mărci premium cu care se bate direct. Tesla își laudă modelul S ca fiind cea mai sigură mașină din SUA, iar rezultatele testelor de siguranță, care au fost făcute publice recent, au confirmat aceste afirmații. Potrivit informațiilor apărute, în cadrul testelor plafonul automobilului nu a putut fi deformat, iar răsturnarea automobilului nu s-a putut realiza prin mijloace tradiționale. Cei de la Tesla susțin că un automobil model S poate susține alte trei automobile similare încărcate fără să se deformeze și că dispunerea acumulatorilor electrici pe șasiul mașinii coboară centrul de greutate făcând-o foarte greu de răsturnat.

"Earlier this week, a Model S traveling at highway speed struck a large metal object, causing significant damage to the vehicle. A curved section that fell off a semi-trailer was recovered from the roadway near where the accident occurred and, according to the road crew that was on the scene, appears to be the culprit. The geometry of the object caused a powerful lever action as it went under the car, punching upward and impaling the Model S with a peak force on the order of 25 tons. Only a force of this magnitude would be strong enough to punch a 3 inch diameter hole through the quarter inch armor plate protecting the base of the vehicle.

The Model S owner was nonetheless able to exit the highway as instructed by the onboard alert system, bring the car to a stop and depart the vehicle without injury. A fire caused by the impact began in the front battery module – the battery pack has a total of 16 modules – but was contained to the front section of the car by internal firewalls within the pack. Vents built into the battery pack directed the flames down towards the road and away from the vehicle.

When the fire department arrived, they observed standard procedure, which was to gain access to the source of the fire by puncturing holes in the top of the battery's protective metal plate and applying water. For the Model S lithium-ion battery, it was correct to apply water (vs. dry chemical extinguisher), but not to puncture the metal firewall, as the newly created holes allowed the flames to then vent upwards into the front trunk section of the Model S. Nonetheless, a combination of water followed by dry chemical extinguisher quickly brought the fire to an end.

It is important to note that the fire in the battery was contained to a small section near the front by the internal firewalls built into the pack structure. At no point did fire enter the passenger compartment.

Had a conventional gasoline car encountered the same object on the highway, the result could have been far worse. A typical gasoline car only has a thin metal sheet protecting the underbody, leaving it vulnerable to destruction of the fuel supply lines or fuel tank, which causes a pool of gasoline to form and often burn the entire car to the ground. In contrast, the combustion energy of our battery pack is only about 10% of the energy contained in a gasoline tank and is divided into 16 modules with firewalls in between. As a consequence, the effective combustion potential is only about 1% that of the fuel in a comparable gasoline sedan.

The nationwide driving statistics make this very clear: there are 150,000 car fires per year according to the National Fire Protection Association, and Americans drive about 3 trillion miles per year according to the Department of Transportation. That equates to 1 vehicle fire for every 20 million miles driven, compared to 1 fire in over 100 million miles for Tesla. This means you are 5 times more likely to experience a fire in a conventional gasoline car than a Tesla!

For consumers concerned about fire risk, there should be absolutely zero doubt that it is safer to power a car with a battery than a large tank of highly flammable liquid.

acu' sa arate si cati km face haudi-ul ala cu cei 23 galoane (80 L) de benzina si daca nu cumva timpul castigat pe alimentare se pierde la numarul de alimentari.

P.S. nu pot sa nu remarc cum americanii alimenteaza cu echivalentul a 3.8 roni pe litru ph34r.gif mad.gif

Am vazut una azi, Model S, albastra. Era pe o platforma pe undeva pe Sos. Oltenitei, n-am retinut ce scria pe placutele care tineu loc de numere de inmatriculare. Banuiesc ca si-a cumparat-o careva, nu cred ca era doar in tranzit prin Romania, tractata de o duba Mercedes rablagita. Arata foarte interesant, mai bine decat in poze si filme (unde pare usor disproportionata). Oare cine o fi fost curajosul care a cumparat-o? smile.gif

Asta toamna am fost fericitul beneficiar unei plimbari (in dreapta) cu un Tesla S. Cele 15 minute pe mana soferului de la dealer au fost absolut speciale. M-au facut un mini fan al marcii.
Cui ii place sa aiba ulei pe maini mesterind la masina, sa stea cu mana dreapta pe bat cand conduce sportiv si are un smartphone doar pentru ca a auzit ca e cool nu o sa aprecieze masina.
Nu conteaza daca este mai rapida sau mai lenta decat M3, M5, RS6 sau orice alt sedan sport. Este ceva diferit, de la lipsa butoanelor fizice din bord, la ecranul ala nesimtit de mare si personalizabil asa cum vrei, la cuplul care parca nu se termina in lipsa socurilor de schimbare treapta, la lipsa urletului unui motor turat in viteza, la cele 2 scaune de copii din portbagaj, la modul docil de rulare in oras si pana la modul cum arata, toate fac un pachet complet care poate arata o directie de viitor. Trebuie doar sa fi deschis la minte si sa nu cauti bucsi, turbine , timpi 0-100 si rotite in bord.

PS: cam asa arata 75% din masina

Aia ziceam si eu. Din zisele tipului de acolo, au avut experiente neplacute cu o cutie in 2 viteze la Roadster asa ca la S este una singura. Nu a exclus ca pe viitor sa apara altceva pentru a concura sedanurile germane la viteza max pe piata din Germania.
Apropo, manerul de selectie de pe volan este de la Mercedes

Iar Tesla Model S a fost chiar cel mai vandut model in Norvegia in septembrie sau in octombrie.

Ei zic ceva mai mult, eu ti-am zis mai putin si decat le-a dat in teste independente altora. Pune mana si documenteaza-te. Totusi s-au vandut peste 10.000 de masini, nu e chiar teapa, daca ai bani si daca nu ia foc cu tine in ea. Dar asta e alta discutie.

Pe altii din teste independente i-a tinut cam 86 de km, si apoi 16 ore de incarcare la o priza normala.

Condusa sau alergata ca pe hotii de cai? Eu nu gasesc discutii in care sa se arunce cu rahat in autonomie.
Oricum stim ca pana nu-ti iei tu masina electrica, o sa arunci cu rahat in ele maxim. blush.gif
