Pentru a face update la sistem e necesar un USB formatat FAT32, probabil nu citeste decat acest format. De filme nu stiu, nu am incercat.

Nu trebuie neaparat de e PC. Merge si direct de pe telefon + poate bifata chestia aia cu acceptarea aplicatiilor din alte surse.
Si poate update-uri la Google Play services?
BTW - ce telefon cu ce versiune de Android?

Multam, m-am facut cu noua moaca de AA:

Am actualizat AA (https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/android-auto/android-auto-4-5-5928-release/), am dat „clear cache” si „clear data”; cand am conectat telefonul la rlink mi-a aparut mesajul cu actualizarea AA, deconectat, conectat si merge.

Poate trebuie bifata optiunea asta din developer mode? Nu am acces la masina sa testez.
Din setari cred ca asta e bifa pentru noua interfata.

am urmat pasii indicati de colegii de mai sus si a functionat. eram mai entuziasmat atunci cand au anuntat schimbarea, acum parca nu mi se pare pare mare lucru. sunt curios cum arata pe r link v8 sau 9, avand in vedere ca acele versiuni suporta fullscreen.
intrebare: stiti cum intri in dev mode in versiunea asta? pare ca metoda veche nu mai da roade.

Am instalat si merge si la mine, interfata noua s-a afisat abia dupa ce am scos mufa usb si am bagat din nou, mesajul era ceva de genul :for new Android Auto unplug/plug in the cable

Pe de alta parte (sunt sigur ca Poty are dreptate), nu a fost recent un update care rezolvase afisarea pe display-urile wide? De ce nu s-ar preocupa (reno, in cazul asta) sa faca un fix si pentru astea portrait? Citeam ca reno si goagal sunt amici apropiati, ca partnership and shit. Pai, guys, get ur stuff arranged si rezopvati-ne si pe noi. E posibil asa ceva?! smile.gif

Bun, merci pentru detalii.
Din ce stiu cei cu versiunea 3.x nu pot face update la 8.x deoarece exista digerente HW.
Nu putem decat sa speram ca vor porta modificarile si pe celelalte branchuri gen 3.x

@Poty: update la 8.0.x? sau update de AA?
Pentru hardware-ul care a venit direct cu 7.0.24.x se preconizeaza vreun update oficial de soft la 8.0.x sau 9.0.x? (asta in ideea compatibilitatii HW)
Sau va merge doar cu modificari? Am citit topicul de modificari (arie Talisman), dar nu au aparut inca info.

Momentan nimeni nu a facut/incercat update-ul neoficial de la versiunea 7.x la versiunea 8.x ...de versiunea 9.x nici nu se poate pune problema fiind prea noua.

Daca e cineva dispus sa riste update-ul neoficial de la versiunea 7.x la versiunea 8.x ..putem incerca dar problema principala este alta si tine de partitiile R-link-ului si modul cum sunt scrise.

Subiectul se poate dezvola pe topicul dedicat modificarilor R-link-ului.

am pus aceasta intrebare cand m-am nimerit pe la reprezentanta si mi s-a raspuns ca o sa primesc update la ultima versiune (eu avand cu 7.xx). momentan nu putem decat sa-i credem pe cuvant, plus ca cine mi-a raspuns nu mi-a tradat increderea pana acum.

mi s-ar parea inadmisibil ca in mai putin de 1 an masina sa nu se mai califice pentru anumite update-uri. imi place sa cred ca au invatat din trecut si ca o sa aiba o alta atitudine. pana si telefonul primeste update-uri mai mult timp.
